Seasons Greetings appeared at the end of 2018 on a wall of a common garage in a small town of Port Talbot (Wales). A happy child is catching snowflakes with his mouth, after all it is happy Christmas time for all!
But then one realizes it is only half of the mural, as the other part is on the joint perpendicular wall… There burns a trash bin, and on realizes snowflakes are actually dirty ashes emanating from the trash bin…

Banksy is also a fervent environmentalist, and this mural appears in a town often covered with grey ashes emanating from a nearby steel plant. One can easily see smoking pipes not far from this garage wall.
It has been said that owner sold this mural to a collector for GBP 100,000. But under the condition that the work will remain in the city. This also fuel the never-ending debate on the sale of urban art that is not meant to be sold…
