12 Banksy Originals sold at auction in 2020 for a total of USD 31,912,524 as compared to a total of USD 18,631,652 in 2019 (with 17 lots sold), which represents almost another doubling in total revenues.
The leading lot of 2019 is Show Me The Monet, which sold at Sotheby’s London on 21 October 2020 for GBP 7,551,600 (USD 9,924,563), closely followed by Forgive Us Our Trespassing sold at Sotheby’s Hong-Kong on 6 October 2020 for USD 8,272,623.
Sotheby’s remains the clear leader by far for Banksy Originals in 2020, as it sold 8 lots for a total of USD 26,281,254. Bonhams sold 4 lots for a total of USD 3,157,959. Phillips sold 2 lots for USD 2,683,000.

The market for Banksy Originals is still largely centered in London, where 9 lots sold for a total of USD 18,496,024. Hong-Kong consolidates its second position with 4 lots sold for a total of USD 9,901,355, followed by New-York, with 3 lots sold for a total of USD 5,249,000.
